The Good Night Community is calling all strategic minds and tactical geniuses for our Second Edition Chess Tournament. To ensure 100% fair play, this entire tournament will be hosted live directly inside our server!
⚙️ TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- ▸Match Style: Pure 1v1 head-to-head. If you lose your match, you are eliminated!
- ▸Platform: All matches MUST be played using the built-in Discord Chess Activity inside the designated Good Night Voice Channels.
Tournament Winners
🎮 HOW TO PLAY (DISCORD ACTIVITY)
- ▸Both players must join their assigned Voice Channel.
- ▸One player clicks the "Rocket" icon (Start an Activity) and selects Chess in the Park.
- ▸Invite your opponent to the game board.
- ▸Admins and spectators are allowed to join the VC and spectate the board!
⏱️ TIME CONTROL & MATCH RULES
- ▸Format: Single Match (1 game per round). It is do-or-die!
- ▸Time Control: Set the game clock to 10 Minutes per player.
- ▸Engine Use / Cheating: Since games are played live in the server Activity, admins can monitor the matches. Any suspicious play or proven engine use will result in an instant and permanent ban from all Goodnight tournaments.
📸 HOW TO REPORT SCORES
When a checkmate, resignation, or draw occurs, the winner must take a screenshot of the final Discord Activity board showing the "Game Over" screen. Post this screenshot in the designated Discord reporting channel so admins can advance you in the bracket!
